Thierry Kepgang Nana Developed an early interest in Art and Fashion because he grew up in a Fashion house environment with a mother and sister as a Fashion Designer in Cameroon Africa. Having a background in the profession of Art painting, he self-taught himself Fashion with the direction of combining Fashion and Art. Due to this, he decides to move first to the United States from Cameroon, where he will attend some of the most elite schools for Fashion in the US. His resilience and determination in the process of his accomplishments have made him today one of the most greater upcoming new contemporary designers of the 21st century. He first received an AA degree in Fashion design and merchandise (2021) here at the Fashion Institute of design and merchandise located in Downtown Los Angeles (FIDM). Then for the second time in 2022, he received another AA degree in the same school. But this time, a Professional designation fashion AA degree. This will allow him to create a personal collection of 12 ensemble outfits that will display his great understanding and craftsmanship of the luxury fashion men's and women's garments.

When he moved very naïvely to Los Angeles with only $300 in his pocket, and the dream to attend one of the greatest fashion schools in the state of California. He didn’t realize how harsh life was about to be for him. No money but so many big dreams and expectation. He would realize that he would give up school and he dreamed to work and focus on paying his bill. Only one year after he will join the Us Army to be able to pay for his school and accomplish his dream of becoming a great designer. His determination and resiliency are what will make him a graduate of one of the greater fashion schools in Los Angeles.

When he isn’t engaged with Fashion and painting, Thierry Nana is spending his time advocating for homeless or mental healthiness veteran care in his area. As the President of Student Veterans of America through his school, Thierry Kepgang nana makes sure to be present for the Veteran student from his school that needs help to know where to go if help is needed. Also, he creates a sense of community for those that feel not belonging anywhere to have a community and family of their own. Thierry Kepgang nana is finishing his Bachelor of Professional study here at FIDM in Los Angeles. He will graduate at the end of March 2023 next year. And planning on doing an MFA in fashion just after, to close with his schooling and finally focus on the practice as a full-time employee.
